
Employer Solutions, Inc. is a business consulting company and Workforce Intermediary Service. ESI provides fee-based workforce related consulting services to business in the areas of talent management, employee engagement and development, organizational effectiveness, and customized training. In addition, ESI acts as a Workforce Intermediary between businesses looking for employees and job opportunities for the Non-Traditional Workforce.
Beginning with employer demand for talent, ESI identifies the hiring needs of businesses in a sector, industry group or geographical area, and identifies skill gaps between the needs of employers and those possessed by the Non-Traditional Workforce. ESI designs, implements, and provides project management on workforce development and customized job training initiatives involving multiple constituents. These include businesses; community groups; public and private providers of workforce services; the corrections industry; colleges; training providers; and elected officials. These initiatives require the private, public, and non-profit sectors to identify mutually beneficial goals and to be accountable for results.
ESI was founded in 1999 in response to employers' need for help in navigating the wide variety of workforce related business services available in the for-profit, not-for-profit and government sectors.
As a resource to their customers and members ESI is endorsed and owned by the Saint Paul Port Authority, the Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Midway Chamber of Commerce – three of the largest business advocates in the Twin Cities East Metro.
Ludden is Chief Executive Officer of Employer Solutions Inc, a business services consulting company providing talent management, organizational effectiveness and customized training services. Ludden is responsible for building shareholder support, overseeing operations, product and service development, quality assurance, productivity and organizational effectiveness to achieve corporate goals, increase shareholder value and exceed customers' expectations.
Ludden works at the intersection among economic development, business development, and workforce development. Through a proprietary 3 strategy model, she communicates business needs to training, corrections, and workforce development entities; and brings the workforce development perspective to economic and business development entities and initiatives. She brings those shared perspectives to elected officials and policy makers to contribute to the strengthening of the regional economy.
Ludden has 20 years of leadership experience in executive positions with responsibilities in fiscal management, product and service development, system and process improvment, goal attainment and results measurement. Her executive skills include human asset management, executive policy development, operational effectiveness, project management, customer satisfaction attainment, marketing, and effective corporate community relations.
Ludden has been a volunteer mentor to developing female executives through the volunteer program of Menttium, which provides diversity in Fortune-ranked companies. She is the chair of the Governance Committee and a member of the Executive Committee of the board of directors of Rebuild Resources; an active member of the Prosperity Campaign; and a member of Women Who Make a Difference. She serves on the Employment Task Force for The Jeremiah Program, is a member of the Saint Paul Direct Services Group, and is a volunteer employment counselor for Jeremiah residents. She is active in a variety of associations of professionals in organizational development, training and human resources.
Prior to her career, Ludden was a family therapist and couples counselor in private practice, several private counseling agencies, and Hennepin County Mental Health Center.
Ludden performed graduate coursework in the School of Social Work at the University of Minnesota. She has a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Human Services Administration from Metropolitan State University, and attended the University of Minnesota and Edina High School.
