This site in the North End Area of Saint Paul designated by the legislature as an Urban Redevelopment Area (URAP). The Port developed a 5.5-acre business center at Rice and Sycamore Streets and was an early headquarters of Warners’ Stellian Appliances. The company has since moved to its new headquarters in the Port’s Great Northern Business Center at Dale and Topping Streets. Catco purchased Warners’ headquarters buildings on Rice Street in 2005. Currently, Catco and Northwest Sheetmetal generate over $170,000  annually in property taxes and assessments and employ over 40 people at this location.
