Tabu Henry – Intern

How did you end up at the Saint Paul Port Authority?

“I wanted an internship that would help me build a resume and I signed up through “Right Track” and told them I was interested in Government and Law so they set me up here with the Port Authority!”

 

What is your favorite part about interning at SPPA so far?

“I like that I’m kept busy and I get to work on a variety of different things every day. It’s nice to have the opportunity to experience a lot of things all at once.”

 

What is a special talent or skill that most people don’t know about you?

“I like to think I can argue my way out of anything.  I’m a pretty good debater and I enjoy arguing things to show different points of view.”

 

What is your favorite part about Saint Paul?

“I like how diverse the community is. I love being in a city where there is activity, culture, and I really love the different environment you get when you’re in Saint Paul.”

 

What are your future aspirations?

“I plan on going to college and studying political science and then going to law school.  And then after that maybe to D.C. to be a politician or maybe even the president.”

 

What is something you love to do when you aren’t at work or school?

“I like to spend time with my family, shopping and I’m a big fan of TV.  I binge watch a lot of shows on Netflix but I’m currently in need of one so if anyone has suggestions let me know!”

 

Who is someone you look up to and why?

“My parents, because they are very hard working and have instilled great values in me. They are very selfless people and have given up a lot for me to be where I am today.”

 

What 3 things would you need if you were to get stranded on a deserted Island?

“A tablet with downloaded shows/movies, some hair products, and something to fidget with so I don’t get too bored.”
