Process Area Lead

WE ARE GROWING!!!  We currently have immediate opening for an Area Lead in our Processing Department. This role oversees all of the Production Room to ensure we are producing the highest quality product in an efficient manner. Starting at $19.75/hour, Medical/Dental insurance and 401K!

Responsibilities include:

• Perform all positions in the Production Room.
• Conduct product inventories and maintain par levels.
• Ensure production crew is on task and assign any problem areas.
• Assist Team Lead in hiring, disciplinary action, and scheduling functions.
• Complete all assigned paperwork daily.
• Ensure product specifications are followed.
• Perform product yield test for Team Lead/Production Manager.
• Reconcile inputs and outputs daily to ensure proper lot coding and inventories.
• Monitor finished product for quality.
• Control labor costs through productivity.
• Communicate effectively with all leadership as well as all other departments; specifically concerning issues.
• Food safety as it related to the position.
• Must be competent and understand all areas of function within Produce Pro.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Strong leadership, management, organizational skills, and computer skills. Work with little or no supervision.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the food industry specifically relating to the quality and production.
• Ability to lift up to 50+ pounds and stand for 8+ hours per day
• Forklift experience preferred
• High School or equivalent required
• Background Check and drug screen required

Schedule Start time 7:00 pm,  Saturdays and Tuesdays Off
