We provide the finest quality bulk and pre-cut fruits and vegetables, dairy, and related food items to food service operators including restaurants, hotels, educational institutions, and country clubs.
Responsibilities include:
- Coring of Lettuce and Cabbage with tools recommended by Supervisor or line lead person.
- Cutting Broccoli, Romaine and Peeling Potatoes.
- Hand cutting and peeling numerous types of fruits and vegetables.• Being able to operate and read scales
- General clean up duties (sweeping, emptying garbage, etc.)• Washing down equipment with hoses
- Operate any equipment necessary for the Production lines, such as conveyors, bin dumps, potato peelers, etc.
- Ensure Product Quality
- Follow all GMP’s
- Food Safety as it relates to this position
- Any other tasks assigned by supervisor
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pay attention to detail
- Background and Drug Screen required
1st Shift: 7:00 am-3:30 pm (Sundays off, one other day off during the week)
2nd Shift: 8:00 am-4:30 pm (Sundays off, one other day off during the week)
3rd Shift: 6:00 pm-2:30 am (Saturdays off, one other day off during the week) *Plus $1.00/hour for Night shift*
